Magnolia

magnolia

radiant sun beams

filter down to the

woefully battered

blacken tree; its soul

burnt, spirit splintered-but

with a gentle, sweet breeze

the robins of the vernal season

joyfully sing of its fragrant rebirth

creamy-white petals bloom evermore
