YouTube Tuesday: From Past to Present – The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

I am continuing the “YouTube Tuesday” theme that I saw from the Martians Attack  blog last week 🙂

This week I’m picking a track from one of the Skyrim video game soundtracks that I absolutely fell in love with.   The title of the song (score only-no lyrics) is From Past to Present.  I love the mood this particular track sets for me as I prepare to write.  It puts me in the “zone” almost instantaneously.

A little info behind this game in case you’ve never heard of it 🙂  This particular one (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim) is an open world role-playing fantasy video game and here is the synopsis that I pulled from Wikipedia:

Skyrim is set around 200 years after the events of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, although it is not a direct sequel. The game takes place in Skyrim, a province of the Empire on the continent of Tamriel, amid a civil war between two factions: the Stormcloaks and the Imperial Legion.

All the music for the entire Skyrim video game collection is written and composed by Jeremy Soule.  Many of his music have won awards including Global Music Awards (Award of Excellence), BAFTA Game Awards (Best Score, Game Music Category) and MTV Music Video Awards (Best Video Game Score).

If you’d like to participate in YouTube Tuesday, post something from YouTube that you enjoyed and tell us a bit about it.  Don’t forget to include the link to this post in yours so I can check it out.  Also, if you’re on Twitter, post a Tweet about your post using the hashtag #YouTubeTuesday.

Have fun!
