There’s a black hole
in my heart
once filled by you

No tears left
to shed
senses, dulled

Why, why
you go?

To Mourn (Poem)

To Mourn

To mourn

where the darkness

squeezes, rips

my essence

until I no longer

breathe, care

It is winter in my soul

where the snow of pain

runs deep

its coldness

burns, hardens

Will hope

arrive, return

with the birds and flowers–

will my heart

be whole again?

Broken (Poem)

I’m experimenting with yet another form of poetry, Gogyohka

a shattered vase

on the floor

water spreading like blood

I can’t breathe

as the pieces of my heart pierce the skin
