3 Ways To Start Your New Year:

  1. New Year = Clean Slate: whatever happened in 2020 whether you were able to publish or not, or complete any/all of your goals, 2021 is a time to start anew.
  2. Reconnect: 2020 was a tumultuous year at best for us creatives with so many distractions and heartaches. It was a year where anything normal was turned upside down or completely thrown out of the window. It was a year of loneliness for many of us unable to attend the usual writing groups, conferences or just the ability to sit at a coffee shop and observe the coming and going of people. 2021 is the time to focus on reconnecting with the writer in us as well as with other writers. If you’re still unable to go out and mingle, try other ways like via Zoom or start a new group through Facebook or Goodreads. Just remember, you are NOT alone!
  3. Hope: 2020 was a dark, dark year on many levels. Let’s turn to the new year with renewed hope that things will gradually get better.

Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.

I for one miss connecting with other writers. If you have a Blog or a You Tube channel, leave a link in the comment section below and I’d love to visit!
