Ever have times when you prefer to stay in a world of your own creation?
Or, find it difficult to distinguish from what’s real and what’s not?
I’m battling this at the moment.
Does this mean I’m mentally ill or insane?
Will writing these imaginary worlds down help me get back to MY reality?
Being artists, are we hopeless causes?
Hmm…
i do prefer the imaginary world at times. well most of the times. but i think it’s just how some of us, especially writers and artists are designed like.

I think as writers we have to be a little bit insane, otherwise we’d be just like everyone else š And who wouldn’t want to be in a world of our own creation? Hopeless causes? Naahhhhh. Curioser and Curioser…

Edgar Allen Poe once said, “I am a writer. Therefore I am not sane.” Sometimes my writing and characters are so real to me that I even speak to them. Even out loud. Does that make me crazy? Yes, but not in a straight jacket way. Being crazy, blurring lines of reality and imaginary comes with the creative territory. So don’t worry, be happy, be crazy.
